Khurda: One person was killed and five others were injured in a road mishap near Nachuni on NH-16 in Khurda on Tuesday.
Sources said the accident took place when the driver of a PCR van lost control and hit a bike and a car near Nachuni area. The biker died on the spot while five others in the car were critically injured.
The police seized the PCR van while the injured were rushed to Khurda District Headquarters Hospital. Irate residents blocked the road following the accident. The police have started an investigation.
