Kalahandi: A man was killed in a road accident near Kantesira in Bhawanipatna of Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Digambar China Gud. Sources said an unidentified vehicle hit Gud’s motorcycle. Residents later found him lying in a pool of blood. The police arrived later, seized the body for post-mortem and started investigations.
After the incident, residents staged a road blockade to demand compensation for relatives of the dead.
