Nayagarh: A person was killed while two others were injured after the car in which they were travelling hit a truck on Nayagarh-Khandapada road late on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Rashmi Ranjan Situ, an employee of State Bank of India in Nayagarh.
The injured persons were admitted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar. One of those injured was identified as Kapilash Nayak.
According to local residents, the mishap took place when the car hit a truck, dashed against a roadside pole and then fell into a ditch.
