Ganjam: One more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the virus in Odisha on Monday, taking the death toll to 15.
The Health Department identified the deceased as a 46-year-old man, who passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital. This is the eighth COVID-19 death in the district.
Earlier, seven coronavirus deaths were reported from Ganjam district, four from Khurda and one from Cuttack.
The department also informed about death a 60-year-old COVID positive patient of Mayurbhanj. He was suffering from cancer of the oesophagus passed away due to post-operative complications following cancer surgery, it added.
