New Delhi: OnePlus’ upcoming mid-range smartphone Nord will be featuring a unique 105-degree ultra-wide selfie camera which eliminates the use of selfie sticks. The company explained that every year about 3000 people die taking selfies and this would help prevent those accidental deaths.
The phone which will launch on July 21, will have a dual selfie camera setup with 32-MP and 8-MP sensors, the company confirmed on Instagram.
The rear will be a quad-camera setup with 48-MP main + 8-MP ultrawide + 2-MP macro + 5-MP depth sensors.
It is expected to have a 6.44-inch display, and comes with options of up to 12 GB of RAM. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor.
With the Nord, OnePlus is targeting to gain back the Rs 20-25K segment which it had originally started with. The Nord will launch “at a pretty great price”, the company said on Instagram.
