New Delhi: In a novel gesture, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to salute the Indian armed forces which successfully conducted Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, destroying terror camps at 9 locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
As a way of tribute to the brave soldiers, acclaimed singer and composer B Praak – whose real name is Pratik Bachan — will deliver a live performance celebrating India’s cultural spirit and saluting the armed forces ahead of the Thursday’s IPL 2025 match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at Dharamshala’s HPCA Stadium.
The flavour of the evening will be patriotic fervour, and the stadium will resonate with soulful melodies and stirring anthems.
“Dharamshala, get ready to sing with pride! B Praak brings the nation’s sound on a night of patriotism and notes echoing India’s spirit. With soulful melodies and powerful anthems, unite to celebrate our great culture. A tribute to the heart of Bharat,” IPL announced on social media.
