Bhubaneswar: Fresh tests for Anthropology Paper-I and II of Odisha Civil Services Main (Written) Examination-2023 will be conducted on May 14, Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) informed on Wednesday.
The candidates will appear for Anthropology Paper-I from 9 am to 12 noon and for Anthropology Paper-II from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The earlier examination conducted on April 27 has been cancelled due to certain errors in the question papers, it added.
On Monday the candidates had demanded that the examination for anthropology (optional subject) be entirely cancelled and conducted again. Those who appeared for the exam on Sunday had received questions from paper-II in the first sitting for anthropology paper-I and vice-versa.
Though the anomaly was discovered during the first session, the examination proceeded as planned, and “the concerned candidates were informed to appear for the question paper.” It was alleged that they lost an hour and missed out on questions of at least 50 to 60 marks because of the goof-up.
