Over 6000 Students From Odisha To Appear For JEE Advanced Tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: Nearly 2.31 lakh students across the country, including 6304 from Odisha, would appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 on Sunday.
In Odisha, the students will take the exam at different centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Berhampur.
The computer-based examination, to be conducted by the IIT Kanpur, will have two sittings. The Paper-I will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper-II from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Students will be allowed into the examination centres from 7.30 am with a printed copy of the downloaded admit card along with an original photo identity card.
The students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall an hour before the examination.|
The results will be declared on June 10.
Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will be sent to the students to their registered mobile numbers. However, no individual rank cards will be sent to them.
The performance of a student in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all 23 IITs of the country.
