Puri: The Election Commission’s flying squad on Friday seized Rs 8.96 lakh from a contractor in a Scorpio at Radhua Bazar in Delanga block of Puri district.
The contractor could not give a satisfactory answer about where he had got the cash from. The police detained the contractor for interrogation. Further investigations are on.
