Islamabad: Amid the brewing tension between India and Pakistan, reports claim that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has been admitted to the Army Hospital in Rawalpindi.

According to a purported hospital document, which is supposed to be something confidential but has reportedly now leaked, the Pakistani PM has been diagnosed with hemorrhoids (piles) and has been under observation since April 27.

The timing of his sudden hospitalization has raised eyebrows. Political analysts suggest the immense pressure from India’s tough stance could be weighing heavily on Pakistan’s leadership. India has taken several measures, including suspension of Indus Waters Treaty and deportation of Pakistani nationals, barring a few exceptions, from the country, as a fallout of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

Here’s the leaked document doing the rounds on social media:

However, Odisha Bytes could not independently verify the authenticity of the document.

Hospital Orders Silence, Nation on Edge

What’s more telling is that the hospital records reportedly instructed medical staff to keep the Prime Minister’s condition confidential. In a country already on tenterhooks over international isolation and internal instability, this secrecy has fuelled speculation.

Is Pakistan’s Leadership Feeling the Heat?

With India scrapping bilateral treaties and driving out Pakistani nationals, Islamabad’s corridors of power appear visibly shaken. Many are questioning if Shahbaz Sharif’s health issue is purely medical — or a reflection of the psychological toll from India’s relentless diplomatic and strategic countermeasures.

What’s Next?

As India tightens its grip, and with Pakistan’s top leadership under strain, the region watches closely. Will Islamabad de-escalate, or will it plunge further into crisis?

For now, Shahbaz Sharif remains hospitalized, and Pakistan’s leadership appears increasingly cornered.
