New Delhi: Pakistani actor Fawad Khan took to his Instagram handle to condole the alleged loss of innocent lives in the air strikes by Indian Armed Forced on the terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) early on Wednesday.
However, the actor’s condolence message for those killed in operation sparked outrage. But this time, it’s Pakistanis and not Indians who are trolling the actor.
Well, what angered the Pakistanis is that though Fawad called the attack ‘shameful’, but he avoided mentioning India his post.
This sly condolence post by Fawad left his countrymen disappointed, who took to social media to slam the actor.
“My deepest condolences to the families of those injured and killed in this shameful attack. I pray for the souls of the deceased and strength for their loved ones in the days to come. A respectful request to all: stop stoking the flames with rabble-rousing words. It is not worth the lives of innocent people. May better sense prevail. InshaAllah. Pakistan Zindabad!” Fawad wrote.
Reacting to this, one angry Pakistani wrote, “To hell with his “condolences” wth is this blaming eveything India did on “rabble rousing words”?? He still didn’t speak anything against India”.
Another commented, “Where did he mentioned India”.
One comment read, “Don’t need your condolences.”
Several Pakistanis urged “Unfollow him attack him this way”
“High time our industry boycott him”, some others demanded.
On the work front, Fawad’s comeback Bollywood film ‘Abir Gulaal’, which was scheduled to release in India on May 9, has been stalled post the Pahalgam attack.
Meanwhile, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, who briefed the media along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Col Sofiya Qureshi, said that Operation Sindoor was launched to deliver justice to the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
While nine terror camps were successfully destroyed, there was no damage caused to the civilians and their infrastructure, Singh affirmed.
