Mumbai: After Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding was cancelled and the latter quietly removed all wedding-related posts from her Insta, rumours started doing the rounds that the music composer has cheated on the vice-captain of the Indian women’s cricket team.
Amid cheating rumours, popular playback singer Palak Muchhal visited her brother Palash at a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Palak made her way inside the hospital, avoiding interaction with the waiting paparazzi.

On Monday, addressing rumours around the postponed wedding and requesting privacy for both families through a note on Instagram, Palak wrote, “Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We would request all of you to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time.”
Palash and Smriti were set to get married on November 23, but the wedding was put on hold after the cricketer’s father reportedly suffered a heart attack and was rushed to hospital.
A day later, Palash was also hospitalised.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Palash’s mother Amita shared, “Since haldi was done, we didn’t let him go outside. Rote rote ek dum tabiyat karab ho gai. 4 ghante hospital mein rakhna padha. IV drip chadi, ECG hua aur dosre tests hoye. Sab normal aaye but stress bahut hai (He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress).”
Smriti and Palash started dating in 2019 and went public with their relation in July 2024.
