Bhubaneswar: Acting on the directive of the School and Mass Education department, the parent-teachers’ meetings in all government and private schools in Odisha began on Friday.
The District Education Officers (DEOs) have informed the school authorities about the meetings, which will discuss the post-Fani damage, infrastructure development, mode of teaching and other problems faced by the schools.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said he has requested the parents and guardians to participate in the meetings and give their suggestions for improving the quality education in schools.
