Cuttack: The Bharatiya Bikash Parishad on Wednesday filed another miscellaneous petition in the Orissa High Court for polygraph test of the persons accused in the FIR filed in the murder case of minor girl Pari of Jadupur village in Nayagarh district.
In the petition, president of the Bharatiya Bikash Parishad Surendra Panigrahi said he had filed a writ petition in the court earlier to direct the CBI to take up the investigation into the murder of the minor girl in July this year.
The petitioner further said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Crime Branch constituted by the state government has identified the accused and arrested Saroj Sethi of Jadupur village claiming that he murdered the girl and raped the dead body as his human semen stains were found on the frock of the deceased.

The petitioner also said as the mother of the minor girl has named some individuals in the FIR and the police are yet to interrogate them, the report submitted by the SIT cannot be said as correct.
Under the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner appealed to the court to allow this miscellaneous petition and entrust the case to CBI for proper and objective investigation and direct the SIT to interrogate the individuals named in the FIR and conduct their polygraph test to nab the prime accused involved in the heinous crime.
