Bengaluru: Passengers travelling to Bengaluru from any state in India will henceforth have to carry an RT-PCR negative report.
However, for the rest of the state, RT-PCR negative test report is mandatory only for those arriving from Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra and Kerala, informed Karnataka health minister K Sudhakar on Thursday.
The minister said that 60% of Bengaluru’s coronavirus cases have an inter-state travel history. The state government is planning to revive stamping of hands of those who have been advised home isolation under COVID-19 guidelines.
