Koraput: A staff nurse of Koraput hospital was allegedly beaten up by
the kin of a patient who died while undergoing treatment at the
hospital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Krupamani Sunamudi (60), a resident of
Talagumandi village in Narayanpatna,

According to information, Krupamani’s was admitted to the hospital
after she sustained 70 percent burns in a fire mishap on Wednesday.
However, she succumbed to her injuries after her condition
deteriorated this morning. Irked over which, Krupamani’s kin attacked
the nurse holding her responsible over her death.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by the nurse at town police
station. Basing on it, four family members of the deceased were
detained by police.
