Bhubaneswar: ‘Paya Shardha’ and ‘Pinda Dana’ rituals for ancestors at Bindhu Sagar and Singhadwara of Lingaraj Temple in the Odisha capital on Diwali have been banned.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has issued an order in this regard to prevent the spread of COVID-19 due to large religious congregations.
