Bhubaneswar: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has advertised for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) in National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navaratna CPSE headquartered in Odisha.
According to official sources, the post is to fall vacant on November 1, 2024 as the incumbent CMD Sridhar Patra will be retiring on October 31, 2024.
Through the advertisement, the public sector head-hunter under the department Personnel and Training has sought applications from experienced candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility for the post by June 18, 2024.
The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the company and accountable to its board of directors and government/share-holders. The CMD is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company, with its headquarters in Bhubaneswar, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance.
The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of
superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The applicant should be an Engineering Graduate/ Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/
Post Graduate/ Graduate with MBA/ PGDIM from a leading institute.
The applicant should possess cumulative experience/ exposure for at least 05 years during the
last 10 years in Finance/ Business Development/ Production/ Operations/ Marketing/ Project
Management in a large organization of repute. Experience in Aluminium/ Mining/ Metal Industry is desirable
