Plus II Instant Exams From July 9: CHSE
Bhubaneswar: With the Plus II Instant Examination 2018 scheduled to begin from July 9, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), in a notification, has asked students to fill up the online forms between June 20 and June 25. The examination will conclude on July 12.
The examination fee for the subjects with no practical papers has been fixed at Rs 520 while the fee for subjects with practical papers has been fixed at Rs 540. However, students appearing for Instant examination on Biology will have to deposit Rs 560.
Students have to deposit the examination fees through the State Bank Collector by between June 20 and 26. Along with the forms, the students will have to attach a Xerox copy of their mark-sheet and a passport photo.

Authorities of the CHSE Zone offices have been asked to deposit the forms at the CHSE headquarters office by June 29, the notification added.
Students eligible for the Instant Examination are directed to contact their respective principals/headmasters regarding online filling up of forms for the Instant Examination.
According to the schedule, examination of all theory subjects of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams, Biology (Regular), Biology-I (Botany Ex-Regular), all other MILs, and Vocational Trade Paper-I and II will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm on July 9.
However, the theory examination of Zoology (Biology-II) ex-Regular students will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on July 10.
Examinations on practical project evaluation of all subjects in Arts, Commerce and Science, Practical of Biology-I (Botany for Regular and Ex-Regular) and Practical of Vocational Trade Paper-I will be held on July 11 while the Practical of Biology Paper-II (Zoology for Regular and Ex-Regular) and Practical of Vocational Trade Paper-II are scheduled on July 12.
The duration for Biology Ex-Regular Examination shall be of two hours while Basic Foundation Course (BFC) and Trade Paper of Vocational stream shall be of two-and-a-half hour’s duration.
Eligibility criteria to appear for the Instant Examination is given below:
A candidate who has passed in the Practical paper, but failed in the theory paper, he/she need not appear for the Practical examination. However, if the candidate has failed in both theory and practical papers, he/she has to appear for both the papers.
A Regular/Ex-Regular/Compartmental/Distance Education candidate who has secured pass mark in aggregate but has failed in one Compulsory/Elective subject is eligible to appear for the examination only in the single Compulsory subject (Registered up to 2015).
A candidate who has appeared in the annual Plus Two Examination, 2018 as a Compartmental candidate only in one subject, but has failed in that subject, is eligible to appear for the examination only in that failed subject.
However, a candidate having the above qualification for enrolment at the Instant Examination 2018 shall not be eligible for the examination if the result of such a candidate has been withheld or cancelled for malpractice or has been booked under malpractice.
