Bhubaneswar: The second cut-off list for admission to different streams of Plus II was released on Friday.
In Science stream, Ravenshaw in Cuttack has emerged as the most sought-after junior college with 91.33 per cent followed by BJB College in Bhubaneswar with 91.20 per cent. The cut-off for Fakir Mohan College (Balasore) is 86.17 per cent, surpassing that of Khalikote College (85.67 per cent), Rama Devi Women’s College (84 per cent) and Sailabala Women’s College (83.33 per cent) and SCS College (74 per cent).
Similarly, BJB College topped the list in Arts stream with 74.67 per cent while Ravenshaw Junior College came close second with 73 per cent and Fakir Mohan College third with 72.50 per cent. The cut-off marks of other prominent colleges are Sailabala Women’s College (72.33 per cent), Rama Devi Women’s College (70.67 per cent) and Khalikote College (62 per cent).
Besides, the cut-off marks of major colleges for admission into Commerce are 81 per cent for BJB College, Ravenshaw College (77.90 percent), Sailabala Women’s College (74.67 per cent), Rama Devi Women’s College (66.50 per cent), Khalikote College (64.50 per cent), SCS College (58.83 per cent) and Fakir Mohan College (52.67 per cent).
A total of 3.22 lakh students had figured in the first cut-off list which was announced earlier on June 12.
The third cut-off list will be declared on July 3.
