Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to Odisha, his second visit to the state this month, to inaugurate the highly-anticipated Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 on January 28.
He had addressed the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Sammelan on January 9.
According to official sources, the PM will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 10.35 am and proceed to Janata Maidan, where he will inaugurate the two-day conclave at 11 am. He is expected to spend approximately 90 minutes at the event and address a gathering of industrialists and investors before departing for Dehradun.
The conclave, scheduled for January 28 and 29, will feature plenary sessions, sector-focused discussions, and networking opportunities with global industry leaders, policymakers, and investors. It aims to draw both domestic and international investments across various sectors, showcasing Odisha as the industrial hub of Eastern India.
This flagship event will spotlight the state’s industrial strengths, strategic advantages, and significant growth prospects for global investors. It is expected to solidify Odisha’s position as a rising player on the global economic stage and foster new partnerships for sustainable growth in the region.
Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam visit to Odisha was a notable development ahead of the business summit. Singapore is the first country partner for the Make in Odisha initiative. The Odisha government has also signed key MoUs with Singaporean firms to boost foreign investment and economic development.
