Police Crack ‘Rs 12 Cr’ Cuttack IIFL Robbery Case; Accused Detained, Gold Recovered
Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police have cracked Cuttcak’s Nayasarak finance company loot case.
The accused involved in the daring daylight robbery at IIFL Finance, a leading non-banking finance company, have been detained, Commissioner of Police Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi tweeted on Tuesday.
The bikes used in the crime have been seized and a substantial quantity of gold recovered, he added.

A police team led by Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh was investigating the case.
On November 19, four armed miscreants had allegedly looted gold ornaments worth around Rs 10 crore and Rs 4.30 lakh in cash at gunpoint from the branch office of the finance company at Nayasarak market in Cuttack.

The following day, the finance company, in its police complaint, reportedly claimed that Rs 20 crore was looted during the heist.
