Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have arrested KBN gang leader Debi Prasad Jena alias Bubu from Delta Square in Odisha capital on Friday.
Police also seized a sword from the mastermind of the Koi Bhai Nahi (KBN) gang which had unleashed terror in Odisha capital. Bubu absconded after the videos of the gang went viral in November.
Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash said they will seek seven-day remand of Bubu. The ring leader of the gang will be interrogated for the whereabouts of other members who are still underground, he added.
Meanwhile, the DCP has warned people to refrain from making videos brandishing weapons, saying it is a criminal act.

Police had first arrested four youths, who reportedly featured in the viral video in which the gang members were seen brandishing sharp weapons and dancing on the middle of the roads in Bhubaneswar with the music of Ram Gopal Varma’s 2010 political thriller Rakht Charitra playing in the background.
