Puri: Burglars broke into the quarters of a police officer in the town and took away valuables on Friday night.
According to police sources, the burglars committed the theft from the house of IIC of Kakatpur police station Sujit Kumar Das, situated on Clark Road in the Pilgrim Town late Friday night.
Police have registered a case and a scientific team along with sniffer dogs have been engaged to investigate. Details of stolen items have not been confirmed.
