Parbhani (Maharashtra): In a terrible tragedy, portion of a Hanuman temple roof collapsed in Maharashtra on Saturday.
Dozens of devotees are feared trapped, and many others got injured in the mishap.
As per preliminary reports, 30 to 40 people are likely to be under the debris. Some are believed to be trapped beneath the staircase, as construction work was going.
Unconfirmed reports say 6 people have lost their lives.

Police, fire service personnel, local authorities and ambulance services are conducting rescue operations at the site, and the injured are being transported to hospitals.
Eight persons have been rescued so far, of whom five are in critical condition. Rescue operations are underway in full swing.
The number of devotees present for darshan, kirtan and mahaprasad was high because it was a Saturday.
The accident took place at the temple located in Parbhani district’s Manwat taluka.
A pillar of an under-construction hall situated opposite the Yashwadi Devasthan Sansthan temple in Manwat Taluka, Parbhani district, suddenly collapsed on Saturday afternoon (June 20). It is preliminarily feared that more than 50 devotees are trapped under the debris.
Those injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment as rescuers assess the extent of the damage and look for survivors.
