Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is likely to undertake a two-day visit to Odisha next month to attend an important healthcare programme in Mayurbhanj.
Sharing this information on Tuesday, Mayurbhanj MP Naba Charan Majhi reportedly stated that the President is set to visit to on October 27 and 28.
During her visit, President Murmu is scheduled to attend a mega eye screening camp in Rairangpur of Mayurbhanj district on October 27. She will return to New Delhi on October 28, according to Majhi.
However, Murmu’s expected tour programme is yet to be officially confirmed by the President’s office.
The eye camp will be held from October 26 to 30. Around 100 veteran ophthalmologists from New Delhi are scheduled to participate in the camp and provide free services to the people.
