Khurda: The district administration on Tuesday sealed a private nursing home and an ultrasound centre in Khurda town for violating COVID-19 guidelines.
In a joint raid, the district administration, Khurda Municipality and the police raided Nandighosh Nursing Home and noticed gross violation of social distancing norms. Besides, most of the attendants and the nursing home staffs were seen moving without a mask on their face. For violation of the COVID norms, the district administration sealed the nursing home for a week after collecting a fine of Rs 50,000.
The team also sealed Rekha Ultrasound Centre for a similar offence and registered a case under the Epidemic Diseases Act.
