Mumbai: Bollywood’s ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her latest Hollywood release, ‘Heads of State’, which also stars Idris Elba and John Cena in key roles.
In a recent interview with India Today, Priyanka, who is based in the United States, revealed that she misses India and Bollywood films.
She further shared that she is quite excited about working with Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli in the upcoming project ‘SSMB 29.’
In a message to her Indian fans, Priyanka said, “I miss Hindi movies and I miss India so much. I’m working in India this year, and I’m really excited about that. I have always got so much love from the fans of Indian films and I hope that continues.”
Priyanka was last seen in Ramin Bahrani’s ‘The White Tiger’, which premiered on Netflix in 2021.
The actress’ last Bollywood theatrical release was ‘The Sky is Pink’. She will be next seen in ‘SSMB 29’, co-starring Mahesh Babu.
The actress has been shooting in Hyderabad and Odisha for Rajamouli’s film.
During her stay in Hyderabad, Priyanka visited a temple and shared photos on social media.
