Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is going big with her deal with Universal Pictures for the female lead opposite Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt in ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’, days after she exited Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’.
The film is an adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel of the same name by AJ Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo, reported Deadline.
Priyanka last featured in ‘A Kid Like Jake’, her second movie in Hollywood, and she has finished shooting for ‘Isn’t It Romantic’, a rom-com co-starring Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine and Liam Hemsworth.
The actress recently quit ‘Bharat’ and her engagement to American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas was being speculated as the reason behind this decision. She has another Bollywood project ‘The Sky Is Pink’ with her Dil Dhadkane Do co-star Farhan Akhtar.
Meanwhile, her American series Quantico also ended its third season. The actress, on Saturday, shared an emotional note on Instagram, thanking the team and fans. The actress claimed lot of appreciation and fame across the globe for her promising work in the series and since then, she has been doing wonders. She had also won People’s Choice Award for Favourite Actress in a New TV Series.
The actress was in Mumbai recently for the movie ‘Bharat’, which she reportedly quit due to personal reasons. Director Ali Abbas Zafar shared a tweet hinting at her engagement with alleged boyfriend Nick Jonas. The couple was seen together several times at family functions and holidaying together.
