Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor and Chancellor of universities Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday appointed Prof Dipak Kumar Sahoo as the Vice Chancellor of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla.
59-year-old Prof Sahoo is now serving as a Professor at the School of Engineering of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
Prof Sahoo has published numerous papers and journals on various topics. He has 14 years of teaching experience. He helped six researchers get PhD degrees under his guidance.
This appointment marks a significant development in the academic leadership of VSSUT, and Prof Sahoo’s expertise is expected to benefit the university community.
