Puri: Puri police during its month-long special drive against drug peddlers and extortionists, 111 persons have been arrested, said SP Kanwar Vishal Singh.
A total of 14 cases were registered during the drive in Puri City and 56 antisocials arrested in connection with extortion. As many as 55 persons involved in drug peddling were booked in 15 cases.

Four persons of the arrested were booked in case of assault of a ‘Tanka Torani’ seller near North Gate of Jagannath Temple, said the SP.
