Mumbai: Qazi Touqeer has seemingly stepped into full-on matchmaker mode for his daughter Arishfa Khan, sending her marriage proposal all the way to BTS member V.
The unexpected gesture has caught the attention of desi ARMY, who are now having their own fun with the actor’s desi-dad approach to finding a groom for Arishfa.
Arishfa shares a close bond with Qazi and fondly calls him “dad”, with the two frequently seen joking and having fun together in the house.
During a recent episode, Arishfa asked Qazi to play her father and send a marriage proposal to BTS’ V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung.
Qazi happily played along and looked into the camera as he addressed the singer, saying, “Korean V, Kim Tae-hyung, listen, she wants to marry you. I am her father; she’s my daughter. I will get him for you.”
Arishfa then joined the playful exchange, looking into the camera and saying, “V, please marry me.” Qazi kept the act going, joking that he would even ask V to perform his “I am a rockstar baby” dance step.
Arishfa then showered praise on BTS’ V, saying, “He dances very well; he is a superstar of the world. Their group, BTS, is number 1 K-Pop in the world. When we go out, I’ll show you how cute they look.” She then asked Qazi if he knew about BTS, to which he replied that he had only heard about the group.
However, desi ARMY was quick to notice Arishfa’s hilarious name mix-up as she referred to BTS’ V as “Kim Tae-hoon” instead of his actual name, Kim Tae-hyung.

BTS, formed by BigHit Entertainment in 2013, comprises RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.
The group has become a global K-pop sensation with hits including Dynamite, Butter and Spring Day.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 20 recently witnessed a heated clash between ScoutOP and Arishfa Khan during a task.
The incident, which saw Arishfa hit ScoutOP, sparked mixed reactions online. ScoutOP, Aasif Khan and Rohed Khan are currently nominated for eviction.
