Mumbai: Raghav Chadha has heaped praise on wife Parineeti Chopra’s latest web series ‘Shaque: Trust No One’.
The politician called the psychological thriller a “genuinely gripping, nail-biting watch” while applauding Parineeti for her performance.
Raghav took to Instagram to share glimpses from the ‘Shaque: Trust No One’ premiere, along with a heartfelt message for Parineeti.
“Shaque had me hooked till the very end. The suspense keeps building, every episode makes you question what you think you know. By the end I only wanted one answer. Who was the kidnapper? The premiere felt even more special with our closest friends and family there with us,” he wrote.
He added, “The whole cast really pulls you into the story, and @parineetichopra, you completely lived Anvita. Proud husband aside, this is a genuinely gripping, nail biting watch. Go watch Shaque on Netflix now!”

The psychological thriller follows a mother whose baby mysteriously goes missing, setting her on a nine-year-long search for answers.
As she gets closer to the truth, buried secrets begin to emerge, putting trust, relationships and those closest to her under scrutiny.
Netflix’s ‘Shaque: Trust No One’ marks Parineeti’s web-series debut.
Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, the series also stars Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Sumeet Vyas and Harleen Sethi.
At the show’s trailer launch, Parineeti revealed that she was pregnant while filming the series.
The actor also joked that the project marked her son Neer’s debut as well.
Meanwhile, Hindustan Times’ review of the series was critical of its execution, particularly its predictability and handling of the mystery.
The review noted that the thriller’s twists and red herrings were too obvious and argued that the show lacked subtlety in its presentation.
