Bhubaneswar: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Odisha on July 11.
According to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Bhakta Charan Das, Rahul along with Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge will participate in the party’s “Save Constitution” rally at Baramunda Ground in Bhubaneswar.
During the visit, the party is also likely to highlight the alleged rise in crimes against women in the state.
AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal will also join them, Das confirmed after a meeting of the party’s Political Affairs Committee.
Senior leaders attended, discussing and offering suggestions to ensure the success of the rally last evening.
