Bhubaneswar: With electioneering for upcoming twin elections in Odisha gathering steam, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Salepur in Cuttack district on April 28, state Congress in-charge Ajoy Kumar informed on Monday.
“We have requested Rahul Gandhi to campaign in Salepur, Rayagada, and Berhampur. There is a need for a huge rally in coastal Odisha to boost party prospects in the upcoming elections. We have suggested two dates – April 28 and May 3 – and are hopeful of getting a confirmation by today evening or tomorrow morning,” he told reporters.
