Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 11 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 3.30 pm on Friday.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely in some parts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal and Ganjam in 3 hours. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
