Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to lash at least five districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar city, on Friday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 12.55 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city) and Jajpur districts during next three hours. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in districts during the period.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
