Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for three districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Kataka, till around 1 pm on Tuesday.
Light to moderate rain and thunderstorm along with lightning may occur at one or two places in the districts of Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Kataka (including Kataka City) and Dhenkanal during the next 1 to 2 hours.

The weather agency had earlier issued an orange warning of moderate rain aling with thunder and lightning for Khorda, including the state capital till 2 pm.
People have advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
