Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha till 3.45 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) and Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Sundargarh, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Puri , Nayagarh, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Jagatsinghpur during the next three hours.

People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
