Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded yellow warning for eight districts of Odisha till 4.45 pm on Monday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning may affect some parts of Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Angul, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Ganjam, Khurda and Puri districts during this period.
The weather agency has also warned of thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places in Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, and Ganjam till 8.30 pm Tuesday. Light to moderate rain/thundershower may also occur at a few places across the state.
Though there is no further warning, light to moderate rain/thundershower may continue at some places in the state till November 3.
