Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for nine districts of Odisha till 10.30 pm on Tuesday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rain and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph may occur in Nabarangur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts during this period.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
