Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 6 pm on Monday.
Light rain/thundershower with lightning may affect some parts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Ganjam and Dhenkanal in 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
