New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who is on a four-day visit to New Delhi, paid a courtesy visit to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday.

Odisha has a coastline of about 450 km. The State’s marine police had stepped up coastal surveillance in view of the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Credible intelligence inputs had also prompted heightened vigilance around the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and key ports like Pradip, Gopalpur and Dhamra.
