Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ appears to have leaked online, with more clips from the highly anticipated promo now surfacing across social media.
As fans get glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in the epic, many have urged the makers to officially release the full promo.
The makers had planned to release the much-awaited promo on July 24, 2026, but postponed its public launch at the last minute.
Although the trailer is yet to be officially made available to the public, it has reportedly been screened at select events, including a launch gathering in Delhi, a special media showcase in Mumbai and San Diego Comic-Con.
A short glimpse of the trailer had already surfaced online earlier this week.
On Saturday, additional footage began circulating across social media, with users sharing low-quality clips and commenting on the film’s grand scale, visuals and background score.
Despite the poor quality of the leaked footage, several viewers appeared impressed with it.
One user wrote, “All 3 leaked clips look absolutely insane! Even in low quality, the grand scale, visuals, and background score give pure goosebumps. Nitesh Tiwari is crafting an absolute masterpiece!”
Others, however, expressed disappointment that footage from a project of such massive scale had leaked online ahead of its official release.
“It’s disappointing that a film as big as #Ramayana couldn’t protect its trailer from leaking before the official release. The makers should have had stronger security measures in place. Months of hard work deserve better than an online leak,” one post read.
Some viewers also called on the makers to release the trailer officially without further delay.
One user pointed out that the element of surprise had already been compromised, with several minutes of footage now circulating online.
‘Ramayana’ is being developed as a two-part cinematic epic.
The first instalment is slated for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release, while the second part is expected to hit cinemas during the festive season in 2027.
