Bhubaneswar: Odisha struggled in their first innings after skittling out Rajasthan for 135 on the first day of the four-day Ranji Trophy match at Vikash Cricket Ground here on Friday.

Put in to bat first after winning the toss, Rajasthan lost the wickets of two openers A.V. Gautam and Chetan Bist got out without opening their account. While M.K. Lomror scored a masterly 85 from 105 balls before falling to Basant Mohanty, seven batsmen failed to reach the double figure except Ashok Menaria (10) and R. D. Chahar (18).

For Odisha, Basant Mohanty was the most successful bowler claiming six wickets while Rajesh Mohanty and Suryakant Pradhan bagged three and one wicket respectively.
