Mumbai: In a new YouTube video, comedian Tanmay Bhat, while taking a dig at Ranveer Allahbadia’s current situation, stated that the latter is not replying to his messages.
In the video clip, Tanmay shared that he had invited Ranveer for making a fitness meme reaction video with him. However, following the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, Ranveer has gone quiet.
The video began with Tanmay reading out a reaction comment from one of the viewers.
The comment read, “Would you rather keep doing reaction episodes or bring Ranveer once and end it?”
Then, Tanmay discussed his earlier interaction with Ranveer just two weeks before the controversy.
“Sun na, aake fitness memes pe react karte hai. Reply nahin kar raha hai ajkal. Pata nahi kya chal raha hai uske saath. (Please join me for making memes reaction video. Why aren’t you replying of late? Don’t know what’s going on in your life.),” the comedian said, leaving the audience in fits of laughter.
The reaction video featured other stand-up comedians like Rohan Joshi, Kaustubh Agarwal, Ravi Gupta, who had previously appeared in the Samay Raina-hosted ‘India’s Got Latent’, Piyush Sharma and Kushagra Srivastava.
For the unreversed, Ranveer landed in a soup for his crass sex joke on parents on the roast show ‘India’s Got Latent.’
“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” Ranveer asked a contestant on the show.
Maharashtra Cyber police officials on Monday interrogated Ranveer for nearly two hours over his controversial comments on parents.
During the interrogation, Allahbadia admitted his mistake before the investigating officer and said that he had agreed to appear on the show because of his friend Samay, as per a NDTV report.
