Rare Species Snake Rescued In Odisha’s Jajpur
Jajpur: A member of Snake Helpline with the help of forest officials rescued a rare species of snake and released the reptile into habitat in Odisha’s Jajpur on Tuesday.
The rare species of snake measuring five feet was rescued from the house of Kabir Badar at Dholapathar village. The reptile was rescued by Snake Helpline member Soumyajit Behura. Behura later released it into Mahagiri forest area. He said the snake is not a poisonous one.
Forest officials said as Sukinda area is covered with forest, venomous snakes of different species are found here.
