Cop Speak
Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi visited the puja pandals on Monday to review the security arrangements. “We have held discussions with the organisers on entry and exit points and smooth traffic management. They have been asked to shift makeshift stalls from near the Ravan effigies,” he said.
Sarangi said traffic has been diverted and security on some routes tightened. People going to Cuttack will have to take Patia-Barang route, he added.
