Bhubaneswar: The state created another record in the number of COVID-19 recovered cases with 1810 patients getting discharged from different hospitals on Friday.
Maximum number of 700 patients recovered from the disease in Ganjam district, followed by 202 in Khurda, 147 in Cuttack, 136 in Gajapati, 116 in Dhenkanal and 106 in Sundargarh, according to a Health and Family Welfare department release.
Similarly, the districts that reported double digit recovered cases are Sambalpur (62), Rayagada (55), Keonjhar (37), Angul (34), Kalahandi (24), Koraput (22), Jajpur (20), Baragarh (19), Balasore (17), Bolangir (15), Mayurbhanj (15), Kendrapada (14), Bhadrak (13) and Deogarh & Nabarangpur (11 each).
The recovered cases from other districts are as follow:
8 each from Jagatsinghpur & Jharsuguda
6 from Puri
5 from Boudh
4 from Sonepur
3 from Malkangiri
With today’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 28,697.
