Record Number Of Patients Recover From COVID-19 In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: A record number of 3443 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged from hospitals in the state on Saturday.
Of the total recovered cases, maximum 951 were reported from Khurda distrcit, followed by 251 from Cuttack, 213 from Mayurbhanj, 164 from Bhadrak, 161 from Dhenkanal, 154 from Rayagada, 148 from Ganjam, 144 from Jajpur, 137 from Balasore, 117 from Nayagarh, 110 from Koraput, 107 from Jagatsinghpur, 105 from Puri and 100 from Sambalpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
There were 67 recoveries in Jharsuguda, 64 in Malkangiri, 61 in Balangir, 61 in Kendrapada, 56 in Bargarh, 54 in Keonjhar, 41 in Sonepur, 38 in Sundargarh and 33 in Nabarangpur.
The recovered cases from other districts are as follow:
24 from Kandhamal
23 from Gajapati
23 from Nuapada
12 from Kalahandi
11 from Boudh
8 from Deogarh
5 from Anugul.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha went up to 93,774 against more than 1.2 lakh positive cases.
